Many cosmetic procedures focus on women, but there are also men who want to make dramatic changes to their body. There are three main areas men may want to change to achieve a more masculine figure.
Some men desire to eliminate stubborn love-handles and showcase their abs, especially if they have spent years working on their figure, but the results are hidden under skin or fat. Depending on your exact concern, this can be achieved in several ways. If you have lost a significant amount of weight, some form of abdominoplasty will be necessary to remove excess skin and make it easier to see the underlying muscle. An abdominoplasty can remove excess fat on the abdomen, but you may need liposuction to touch-up other areas. Liposuction is a good choice to reduce specific pockets of fat that are hiding your abs and to reduce or eliminate the dreaded love-handles.
Chest contouring can be important for men who deal with specific medical issues, such as gynecomastia. This condition occurs when men have breast tissue, and the problem can become more obvious with weight gain. During chest contouring a surgeon will first need to remove the breast tissue. You may also need excess skin removed if you had a large amount of breast tissue. Regardless of whether gynecomastia is a concern, some men choose to have pectoralis implants, especially if they have a difficult time developing this area with weight-lifting. Implants can make your chest look muscular and broad, which is typically considered more masculine. Pec implants can be useful to balance your physique if you have an overly-muscular lower-body.
Since genetics and hormones play a major role in your body shape and where you gain weight, some men feel concerned if they tend to have a more "feminine" lower-body. Some men have wide hips and large buttocks, which can make them feel self-conscious about their appearance and make men's clothes fit awkwardly. If you are currently overweight, losing weight may help to some extent, because it might make the difference between your upper and lower-body less obvious and reduce hormone-related issues. Liposuction will be your best tool to reduce fat on your lower-body and make your buttocks, hips, and thighs less noticeable. Although the main goal of liposuction is to remove fat, it is also an art. Fat can be removed in specific areas to create certain contours, such as making your hips appear more angular instead of round.
Men can face just as many concerns as women regarding their figure. Fortunately, there are many body contouring procedures that can help you feel more confident in your appearance.Share

I knew that my hearing wasn’t as good as it had once been, but I was still upset when my doctor told me that I had a significant hearing loss in both ears, and that I was going to need hearing aids if I wanted to participate more fully in my day to day life. But then I started researching hearing aids. I was thrilled to find out that there were small, barely visible aids that could help me hear without marking me as hearing impaired on first glance. Even better, the hearing aids were much more advanced than I’d thought. The ones that I chose can actually help cancel out environmental noise, like the clatter of a loud restaurant, so that I can focus on conversation with the waitress or the person across the table. My hearing aids have really improved my life.
